Afternoon Tea @ Claridge's or Dorchester?
 

Please advise on which venue you prefer to take your Afternoon Tea - Claridge's or Dorchester? Dorchester has specific seating times, but Claridge's does not. Will we be rushed if we booked a 5.30pm seating for Claridge's? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

there was a post done on the best places to have afternoon tea a week or so ago. i have looked for this post but can't find it.

There are much better tea threads on here (this one has some freaky digressions) but unfortunately the search function doesn't work very well.

but there is some good information that might be helpful.

You might want to check out Afternoon Tea at The Capital Hotel - I had read an article in Time Out London - and it reviewed all the top places and really sang the praises of the staff etc at this hotel. This is where we are planning to take our Afternoon Tea in November. At 18.50 pounds it was not quite as expensive as some well known places.
