After Paris Packages

hi Guys!

I'm going to Paris for a tour and convention from aug 18-21; after which I decided to go to a sidetrip to Italy and other countries nearby. Can you suggest of any good packages available say 5 countries in 7-10days thing?

Hoping for a suggestion from the experts.

Thanks,

Bryan

Five countries in 7-10 days? Did you mean 7-10 days each, right? Because you are asking for 5 travel days, which leaves no time actually in a place.

In 7 to 10 days you can see small parts of two countries. To see 5 countries in 10 days you will spend the bulk of your time just getting from one place to another - and either spenour days interminably riding on a bus or on a tourof the trai stations of europe.

Please define:

What your want to see do (museums, history, architecture, fine dining, natural beauty, hiking, cog dancing, archery??????)

What places YOU are interested in seeing. (I know where I want to do - but don't have a clue if you like big cities, small towns, mountains??)

And how do you feel about heat. You are going at the hottest time of year. Do you want mobbed scorching beaches? Mountains that are cooler?

What kind of budget - modest, moderate, upscale???

For that length of time, just throw more money at it and see nothing.
Just google. You'll find something to take your money.

You can't see anything of 5 countries in 7 days as you'll spend all of your time traveling from one country to another. Much cheaper than a tour is buying a train ticket and getting off once in each country for a few hours.

You can look at Contiki or Cosmos or any other low end tour. This is the type of tour that takes you to many locations in a few days.

<5 countries in 7-10days thing>

You'll probably need to research this yourself. Look in the back of travel magazines for tour companies that offer this type of itinerary.

Most Fodor's posters don't personally like this kind of tour so will advise against them, as you have already found out from the replies above.
