Affordable Honeymoon in France/Italy?
I need help!!! I am trying to plan an affordable honeymoon in either France or Italy. I can't even decide on a country. We have both been to Italy, but the thought of strolling the streets of Venice still gives me goosebumps. But, we have never been to france and maybe we would fall in love with it too. Does anyone have any recomendations on an itineriary (sp?) for either (or just paris then Italy which is what I would really love to do) that is around 12-14 days. We have seen all the tourist sites in Italy so we kinda want of the beaten path places in the larger cities.
Affordability is key also

Rebecca,

My wife and I have returned to St. Remy de Provence for ten years in a row. We had just married, and were in our 50's when we started going there.

Provence in general is a lovely place. The lavender blooms in July and you would be there to experience this wonder of nature.

We are all different. Provence is best for those who seek scenic beauty, serenity, excellent cuisine, country markets and very friendly people. It is not the Riviera - no casinos, "clubs", nightlife.

If you are interested in more information please contact me at my e-mail address.

Good luck.

Anthony

Hmmm ! Honeymoon--July--affordable.

I would fly into Milan and out of Venice and do these romantic places:
Lago Orta
Cinque Terre
Tuscany hill towns
Venice

That is a tight itinerary offering the best of natural splendor and romantic settings. Good luck !
