Christina: thank you. I hope it does not have to be one with a chip in it.
Cathinjoetown: That is correct that there will be 2 traveling. But the AF bus is 17E pp x 2=34E. I read that a taxi is 50E plus tip. Do we tip the AF bus driver? |
No tip is required for the taxi driver, but if you have lots of luggage and he helps you with it, you might give a few euros (BTW, there is an extra euro charge for extra luggage, i.e., more than one bag each - so be prepared for that).
You absolutely do not tip the AF bus driver. |
fff
You're correct on the price estimate bus v taxi but I understood you would need a taxi from the AF bus drop off point to your hotel, so add another 10-12€ for that. Because a taxi is needed after the bus, for me anyway, a taxi directly from CDG becomes justifiable. |
Thanks StCirq
Cathijoetown-That makes sense and I will remember that for future trips. This trip we are going directly to Gare de Lyon to catch a train to Dijon, so the AF shuttle is a good choice since that is the first stop heading into Paris. Can't believe we will be there Thursday!!! So excited. |
Have an excellent trip. Got you confused with the OP, TAW.
Bus makes perfect sense. |
