Aerobus from Barcelona airport to Placa Catalunya

We'll be flying into Barcelona in a few weeks and are thinking about taking the Aerobus from the airport to Pl Catalunya, has anyone done this? If so, was it handy and would you do it again? We're staying at Citadines Las Ramblas and under 10 minutes walking from drop off point.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this

Yes, I have take the Aerobus several times. The bus stops are easy to find at the airport terminals, and the walk to your hotel is easy (unless you have lots of luggage in tow).
Just when you go back, remember that there both of the two terminals have their dedicated Aerobus line. So make sure you board the right bus at Pl. Catalunya.

Yes and yes.
Follow the signs for the bus, pay 5.90 euros, take luggage on the bus.
The bus stops 3-4 times on the way.
Easy and inexpensive.

If you need a third set of votes, ours is yes, and yes. We bought round-trip tickets at the airport bus stop to make the return easier.

OK, that does it, we'll take the Aerobus! Sounds convenient, inexpensive and easy, especially due to our hotels close proximity to Placa Catalunya. Thanks to all for taking the time to respond.

And from the airport to Citadines Las Ramblas a taxi would be some 15-20 minutes and around 25€.

How long a taxi ( or bus) takes depends on traffic
but I agree that for 3-4 travelers ( or tons of luggage )taxi makes more sense.
We have taken taxis number of times, on the last trip in May we
took the bus a couple of times and found it just fine. Our hotel was not too far north ( near P.de Gracia.)

It's kind of a no-brainer if your hotel is near placa Catalunya unless you don't like public transportation.

Just a quick update.....we've just returned from Barcelona, used the Aerobus to Placa Catalunya, a great low cost alternative if you're staying in the area. We stayed at Citadines on Las Ramblas and it was a short walk from the bus drop off point. On our return flight out of Barcelona we took a taxi from the cruise terminal due to rain and the cost was 38€ for 2.
