aer lingus seating on long haul flights

Does anyone know where the preferred seating is on Aer Lingus flights (Boston - Shannon)?I have checked Seatguru but they do not list Aer Lingus. I have a bad knee and would like to book the best seat possible.
Thanks

I may be wrong, but I'm not sure Aer Lingus allows for seat selection online - you may just have to call them up to get what you need.

No one has EI's EI has even pulled their seat maps off their website. None of the seat rating sites have EI.

Here's one I can find on oag.com, but EI's A330-300 has two confirgurations, so it's not necessarily your plane.

And are you sure they give out seat pre-assignments?

I think you should just get yourself an aisle seat if possible.

Yes you can pre-select seats - but you have to pay to do so. so you'll just have to use the aer lingus

And just to be sure - is it an aer lingus flight or a code share??

BOS-SNN is Aer Lingus, on an A333.

This may not help you at this juncture, but IF you can find someone knowledgeable with the plane, there were a group of seats set aside and curtained off in the back of economy for the crewwhen we flew two years ago from LAX. Directly across from the crew there were two or three rows in the center with extra leg room. My husband and I were orginally separated and he was there. On paper the row sounded awful. Once he got there I gladly traded my aisle seat further up to be with him. I do not know if anyone at the gate check-in knew this or not, but that was when he was assigned a seat (because it was a code-share tix with American.) I hope someone for Aer Lingus can help you! It maight be worth some emails and calls around!

As someone said, just request an aisle seat. None of their seats are great.
