Aegean Air and Olympic

Would like to know for those who have traveled on either, your experience from Athens to Santorini?

Aegean. Again, this flight is so short, base your choice on price and shedule. I think Aegean is having one of its frequent sales right now..check their website for details.

Also took Aegean. Excellent service. But agree with ekscrunchy (unless Olympic is in one of its "let's strike today/tomorrow" modes).

I've been on both, and have no complaints with either. Olympic has been through a rocky patch, but its new owners, Marfin Investment Group, is requiring all Olympic employees to reapply for their own jobs. That should discourage any future "let's strike today/tomorrow" attitude. ;-)

BTW, when I fly Aegean, I eschew the Saver Fares and book Semi-flex. I prefer to pay a little more and have the additional flexibility. :-)

I know that my father and his wife, who live in Athens, only fly Aegean b/c Olympic is very prone to cancel flights if there aren't enough passengers or b/c they feel like it. Maybe the new owners will improve on this.
