advice- trip to include venice

Every yr (this will be the third yr running) I take my mother to Venice as a Christmas gift... we travel in May usually. This year I will not be using miles so I want to explore other cities from where we can fly from JFK and then reach Venice and fly from Venice back to JFK (obviouslyu connecting). We've been all over Italy so that's not an option. What city should I introduce her to next? We went to Brussels ona long layover last yr..... There is just so much to see.... I was thinking Paris but what airlines fly between Paris and Venice on the cheap?

There is a non-stop flight from JFK to Venice....Delta Flight # 150 and #151 returning from Venice to JFK.
I've also flown non-stop to Paris for a few days and then on to Venice on MyAir....when I returned to NY I flew the non-stop back to JFK.
It was a great trip combining Paris and Venice...MyAir was easy...MyAir flys from Orly. It was actually a few euro less for a cab to Orly than a cab to CDG. (From the 1st)
Have a great trip!!

What about Vienna? Great museums, wonderful coffee, good strolling city.

www.whichbudget.com to find discount airlines. But check the major carriers too as prices are often competitive.

I'd also consider flying to Munich and tour Bavaria and also to Salzburg, Austria. There are non-stop day and night trains from Munich to Venice, taking 7 hours.

shuold also note we went to austria last yr... the first yr we did an 11 day tour- milan, venice, florence, rome. magnifico!!

i am leaning towards paris only bc i have an air france credit of $700. I'm an AA mile hog though soooo I am not sure I'd sacrifice the Delta flight for the miles...

Air France and Delta are airline partners.
