Advice on Tuscany
Would appreciate advice on great reasonable restaurants in Siena.
Also, looking for a guide or guides to take our 15 family members on a tour of tuscany. Thanks |
We were there on a cruise in May and used www.limioinrome.com. We also used him in Rome. We were pleased with the service.

I highly recommend Luca Garapa, based in Siena, of Hillsandroads.com. We did several day trips with him in Tuscany last August, and were very pleased with his reasonable prices, knowledge and charm. Good luck!

It was by no means cheap but we loved our night at "The Dog and the Cat".

The Dog and the Cat!! (Cane e Gatto) Eight adults from our family went for an evening there just a week ago. It was well worth the money. The food was excellent and the service was as well. It was an unforgettable evening for all of us. The restaurant was full, however, so if you go, it would be best to make a reservation. Good Luck.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the bill for 8? with or without wine? Thanks, Linda |

Our bill at Cane e Gatto was around $45 per person. This included everything.
I know for a lot of people on this forum this is chump change for a meal, but for us was a splurge. I would do it again in a heartbeat however. It was a very special night out. Cheers, the turnip |
