Advice on transport from Gatwick to London

What is the best public transport route from Gatwick to Queens Park? I was told to take the train into Central London then take the appropriate Underground.

I took the Gatwick Express the last time I was in London some years ago. Today, I'd just open up Google Maps, search for the name of my lodging, then get directions to Gatwick and see what it recommends. It might be one of the express trains connecting to a tube train or bus. See what it recommends.

Thanks Andrew. I checked on Google Maps and it looks like a train goes from the Gatwick Airport to Queens Park Underground. Then it looks like a very long walk to the BnB.

Did you set the time too? Google Maps defaults to "now" I think when finding public transportation times - and that might be the middle of the night in London if you check right now. London has a good bus system as I recall. Also check the route from that underground station to the BnB, just for fun. Maybe you'd have to wait a few extra minutes to connect to a bus or something - or just take a taxi.

You can do the whole journey by train in a little over 1 hour. Any other option will likely take longer.

LGW > Clapham junction > Willesden Junction > Queens Park

Plus there are other, cheaper trains, besides the Gatwick Connect.
