Advice on FAMILY HOTLES in MILAN near the DUOMO
Hi
Since we are now flying from Milan to Prague we have decided to go to Milan for 2 nights.
We have been before and would like to stay near the duomo.
So far the hotels I have found that are available are:
http://www.ihg.com/crowneplaza/hotel...cc/hoteldetail
http://www.regency-milano.com/
http://www.ascotmilano.it/
However, I know your knowledge is better then mine so I thought I would see what you thought would be best.
As always ...many many thanks!

If you get no replies from people in the know you could check the traveler reviews on booking.com or hotels.com. Do either of the three have any extra special quality to them that would make one stand out over the other?

None of the hotels are "near" the Duomo. The Crowne Plaza is near the central train station which would make it convenient to the train to Malpensa, assuming you're flying out of Malpensa and not Linate.

Goldens: ?? who was shouting? I don't see any ALL CAPS except for a couple of words in the title.. Did you mean to post that on a different thread?
I'm pretty sure a word or two in caps is not considered shouting by most folks. There is a huge difference between >>I would definitely NOT do such and such<< [for emphasis] and >>I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT DO SUCH AND SUCH [shouting]

I just thought it was a bit sharp for someone who joined yesterday to be calling someone to task over such a minor indiscretion.
If that upsets you, just wait til you see some other things posted on here.
