>>> Also when I'm doing the Dingle Peninsula, I was told to buy food at the supermarket? Anything cool to try out that we can't find in the USA?
I suspect this was something mentioned without providing the context under which the recommendation is relevant.
While many can probably point out point solutions refuting otherwise, dining in Dingle is on the expensive side. Consequently, if you want to eat cheaply, go to a supermarket, probably Supervalu on the quay to buy something to do a picnic.

Yes, sorry. I was told Dingle drive did not have many lunch stops. Therefore, I should pick up some food to bring as a picnic. I was curious if there was any types of unique drinks or food that I should look for that we did not have in the USA.

The other thing that came us is the rental car.
I am booking a rental car at Farranfore.
I am looking at Hertz online, is there any specific insurance I should get? Any tips about driving? I will probably get 3rd party insurances so my friend can drive too.

You have advanced your driving itinerary this far without looking at the car rental situation?
Have you driven a right handed steering wheel car with stick shift on the left on narrow roads driving on the left side before? If you have to rent an automatic, the rental cost skyrockets.
Ireland is one of the "I" countries where your U.S. credit card does not cover CDW for most ordinary cards. Read the fine prints. If you just take a plain CDW, you collision liability is probably around €1300 deductible. You can lower the deductible by paying more. As usual, undercarriage, etc, type of damage you encounter are not covered by any insurance. Allowing a friend drive is called "additional driver". It is an additional rental fee.
The traffic rules differ from the U.S.

All this about Cork and Dublin and such.
What about hearing the fiddlers in Temple Bar...and the Book of Kells at Trinity College...and Kilmainham Jail in Dublin...and mystic paths at Glendalough...and marveling at ancient Boyne Valley burial mounds...and a drama at either the Gate or Abbey theatre...and Evensong at Christ Church...and atop Hill of Tara remembering the high kings of Ireland...and experiencing Medieval Dublin at Dubliana...and the misty path to Cliffs of Moher...and the unique topography of The Burren...and the countryside vista from Cashel Castle...and the green fields during a Dingle Penninsula drive...and a scenic view of Galway Bay...and a recreated Bronze Age settlement at Craggaunowen...and Coole Park site of Lady Gregory's estate...and more pub music in Killarney.
And instead of how far to this or that and where to stay...important yes. But think more of what to see and do in lovely Ireland. Pick and choose time? We had three weeks.

This is my current trip, I have about 6 weeks left
I can cut down my trip even more and just take the train from Galway to Dublin on the last day. Leave the rental car in Galway and skip Clonmcnoise Monastery and Tomb of Newgrange.
What do you all think?
9/25 Dublin (BUS)
9/26 Train to Farranfore, pick up car head to Karnaney
9/27 Dingle (RENTAL CAR)
9/28 Galway(RENTAL CAR)
9/29 Galway(RENTAL CAR)
9/30 Galway to Dublin(RENTAL CAR)

Inishmore is mystical and just a throw back for me. Loved it.
What or where is Karnaney?
The Farm is a great place for dinner in Dublin. Early bird specials make it affordable.

Okay, I bought the tickets to Guinness for early afternoon and check out Brazen Head Pub after The Farm.
Anything else fun to do Dublin, late morning to early afternoon?
I will go to Out of the Blue at Dingle after we drive around the Peninsula. Do you all know if I can make reservations now or do I have to wait till I get there?
