advice for a week
My wife and I have 8 days at the end of March..any suggestions in Europe
|
Oh my gosh - how on earth can anyone help you or give any sort of useful advice w/ absolutely NOTHING to work with?
At first I assumed you must be a newbie who really has no idea of anyplace/anything in Europe. But from other posts it is clear you have at least been to Paris, Rome, Venice, Florence and Spain. Give us a break - what sort of things do you like, where are you coming from, where else have you been -- anything . . . . . |
A week in Herning, Denmark, followed by an overnight in Stockholm. It perfectly matches all that you have asked for.

Another candidate for Molvania.

forgive us for "funning" you, jerry, but you are NOT a first time poster here, nor a newbie to Europe. You have posted in the past about trips to Italy, France, Spain, and Prague and you seem pretty savy. You have even mentioned that the weather in February didn't prevent you from doing anything in Italy, so what do you REALLY want to know here? You have to have a couple ideas for starters!

boy you're a tough crowd..we have eight days and thought about 4 and 4 in Istanbul and Jerusalem,,but it felt like alot of running for such a short period of time..we also didn't want to spend the time in a cold place..she's always wanted to go to Greece,,but thought it was too cold and like the posts said we have been thought rome venice florence paris london prague barcelona and southern spain..just was sort of looking for a cool place that didn't require alot of work

Sicily ! I will be there for 15 days a month later.

i don't know about sicily but i do suggest one or two of the cities in italy you mention
they won't be very crowded, as they are in summer, and the weather won't be terribly cold and in rome and florence, a lot of what you'd want to see is indoors anyway |
