I am going to spain in may. going to be in andalucia for 4 days and madrid for 3 days, any recommendations would be apreciated.
also looking to buy an electronic translator, need an advise.

You probably need to put a different title on this so that people know what advice you are requesting. That will help you get answers. I don't know if you can change the title, or just re-post with a new title.

recommendations for what? lodging?.....what's your budget?....sightseeing? what are your likes?....cities in Andalucia?...are you driving/bus/train?.... first time in Spain?....traveling solo?...with kids?...

electronic translator advice? Yeah, sounds like a good idea.

The title on your post doesn't help much either....:-/

95% of the posts here are asking for advice. (most of the rest are vanity posts best ignored)

You need to start a new thread with Madrid, Andalucia and translator in the title.

(you can't edit this one so you'll have to post a new one)

Saying it as politely as I know how - - and for the benefit of other newbies - - you really must re-post with a proper message header. It's not merely failing to serve YOUR needs; it's (inadvertently) actually quite rude to the rest of us. It's as if you are standing in a hotel lobby with a sign on you, saying "Hey, I am so self-important; you come here and look in my pocket and see what it is I need".

I hope this doesn't run you off, but I hope you take a look at least a brief look at how other people put message headers on their questions, and then r-post.

And/or read http://www.fodors.com/forums/faqs.cfm#Q6 - - especially "Finally, create a title - make sure it is concise and clearly describes your message (and destination, if applicable)

Best wishes,

Rex

Hi
It seems that you have gotten several responses, including this one, but none with the information you want.
I'm thinking that English isn't your first language.

Click at the top on Post new message, try
Andalucia & Madrid in May
as a title, then as suggested above, give people here some guidelines, like your budget for hotels and restaurants, your interests, how you are getting from one area to the other, etc

So, it appears that I did run Eugene off. He wrote me today sayig that I am the rude one.

Pity. He doesn't realize that there is so much valuable information waiting for him here.

"We" ask only the tiniest bit of learning curve so that the forum is helpful and enjoyable to all.

really you are not cute. quite screwin' up the board.

Patrick Apr 8th, 2005 01:55 PM

Suze, no offense, but this post had moved past the 100 mark -- third page of topics. Why did you just bring it back to #1?

FainaAgain Apr 8th, 2005 02:26 PM

Rex, don't take it personally - Eugene's e-mail, I mean - you are the only one to post your e-mail address, that's why you are the only one to get his e-mail.
