Advance purchase to attractions and car rental
Howdy! I'm wondering what tickets to attractions do we need to buy in advance such as Bath, Windsor castle, Tower of London, Stratford upon Avon , museums, London eye, etc...For car rentals, if we decided to use a rental car, does it need to be done in advance too? What about transport? So far, we've only bought tickets to Harry potter and the train from London to Paris. Thank ya'll!

If you wait until you arrive, then you'll pay MUCH more for car rental (2X or more!). Rent before you leave US. AutoEurope is a good site - I use it all the time.
A multiple-day transit for London is a good deal depending on how many days you there.
For individual tourist site tickets, it depends on how flexible you want to be or if you want to see what the weather is, etcetera.

I bought tickets in advance for Windsor Castle. Although we were there on a Tuesday in mid-September, there was a line for tickets. We were able to walk right through to security.
In Bath, I bought the Hop On Hop Off Bus tickets in advance, but it was not necessary. If you take the HOHO bus, you can use your ticket to get discounts to some of the sights in Bath, including the Roman Baths.
For London, if you buy rail tickets for transport, you will be able to use the 2 for 1 deals, which includes the Tower of London. See www.daysoutguide.co.uk for more details. The London Eye is weather dependent.

Clarification . . . yes, you MUST book Ceremony of the Keys tickets well in advance, but you don't 'buy' them. They are free.

I checked the ceremony of the keys a month ago and they're already gone at that time.�� Pardon if I may have to repeat my question which is not a UK posting......what about Eiffel Tower and Versailles, or louvre museum, do I need to buy tickets in advance? Again, thank ya'll!����

I wouldn't buy any tickets ahead of time. Plans change. Weather is important, especially for things like the Eye, Eiffel Tower, Versailles gardens, etc.
