Advance planning for Tuscany rentals 2006
My wife and I will be making our first visit to Italy Spring 2006. We would like to rent a studio or one bedroom apartment. Nothing fancy, just functional
Would anyone have a recommendation on a reputable rental agency? Exact location in Tuscany is undecided at this point.
Thanks

Here's a good website with tons of options for Tuscany (hotels, farmhouses, villas, castles). You can get an idea of what you're interested in. http://tuscany.net/
My family is going in October and staying at a farmhouse in Tuscany called Le Traverse (upscale in Pienza - gets consistently positive/great reviews). On that website, it's listed under the location "Val D'Orcia"
Have Fun!

City or country? What do you enjoy doing? What price range? What month in Spring 2006?
Agencies exist but there are also many places that have their own website and do not place their properties through a large agency.
So starting with the agency does not seem the best way to tackle the issue, IMO.
Folks will offer lots of advice if you can fill in some blanks.
I have 2 favourite places but will wait to hear if I am in your ballpark.

You can try http://www.parkervillas.com .....
I requested and received a free catalogue. More fancy than bare bones, but all sizes and price ranges.
