advance booking for tourist sites

places like the vatican have a system where you book ahead and then have a limited time to view everything.
is there a current list of all of these?
thanks all

Not that I'm aware of. You need to investigate each sight you want to see. Sometimes reservations aren't required but are very much recommended.

thanks
does anyone else know of a list
i assume the tour operators would have to know

Do you mean just in Rome? Or all over Italy? Or just any ole where??

Do you mean a list of sites with timed tickets?

>>and then have a limited time to view everything<<

Most timed tix tell you what time you can enter, not how long you can stay.

good question. i mean europe
thanks

janisj Mar 9th, 2018 09:31 AM

You honestly want a list of sites with timed tickets all over Europe???

Sorry -- even for individual countries that could be an enormous list and likely does not exist.

StCirq Mar 9th, 2018 09:49 AM

All 50 countries? Seriously?

Hnh6 Mar 9th, 2018 12:45 PM

No but if you make a list, come back and share with us.

anon125 Mar 9th, 2018 01:14 PM

Well how about france and italy
thanks

StCirq Mar 9th, 2018 01:23 PM

Please. You're obviously on the internet. Google every site you want to visit and take note of the requirements for entry. There is no absolute list, and we don't even know what it is you want to visit. You actually have to do your own homework. I know...SAD.

In France, the Eifel Tower will be the hardest to get; start early. In Rome, the Vatican museum, including the Leonardo ceiling frescoes. Also difficult: the tours of the archaeological areas beneath St. Peter's.

Now in Spain, it's the Alhambra.

thanks but IF there had been a list - the tour operators must have one, then i would not have to go to so many internet sites
thanks
