ACTV site for Venice has not been working?

For weeks now, the English version pages of ACTV will not provide a scroll bar, and I can't access any information lower than what my screen shows when the page loads. I tried both Firefox and Safari. Is anyone else having an issue? I know someone who uses Google Chrome, and he gets a scroll bar.

Now I'm thinking it's a Mac issue. I downloaded Google Chrome and no luck. When I click to the English version, the scroll bar on the right disappears. My friend who checked Google Chrome and said it worked works on a PC.

Are there any other Mac users out there who can test the English pages for me? Thank you!

I'm using windows and Firefox and I don't see a scroll bar. I used the page down key to see the remainder of the screen.

The home page doesn't seem to have a scroll bar -- but if you go to any of the other pages ('Welcome to Venice', 'Buy Online', etc.) the scroll bar is there . . .

You need to be able to get the next screenload to see Welcome to Venice. But you can do this with the cursor down or page down keys.

The Italian version has a scroll bar on the home page.

Now I feel like an idiot. After all these years of using a computer, I had no idea that the page down key or the arrow keys could move the page down and up. It totally works. Thank you.

It's still a mystery why there is no scroll bar. I've been to the site many times in the past and never had a problem with either browser. Also, the scroll wheel on my mouse does not move their page. Weird. Now that I can move the page, I can access the info I need. Thank you all.

It's funny how we get used to doing things a certain way and don't realize there are alternatives.

The mouse scroll wheel won't work if there are no scroll capabilities on the page.

Not on my screen -- it is visible w/o having to scroll (or click the page down key)

Wesley, how about this:

My studio has Macs and PCs. I checked on both.

On the Mac, the scroll bar is missing on the English home page in both Firefox, Safari, and Google Chrome. Now get this: in Google Chrome, if you instruct Google to automatically translate the Italian page into English, the scroll bar remains. But if you switch to the English page, the scroll bar goes missing. I also tried two different mice, the Mac Mouse and a Logitech. Both scroll wheels do not move the English page.

On a PC, the same result with Firefox and Google Chrome. However, in Google Chrome, the scroll wheel moves the page, using a Microsoft Mouse, without the scroll bar showing. LOL.

I've said this many times, Italy's code writers are too often sleeping at the wheel and the English versions suffer. Maybe it's all that pasta at lunch. Perhaps if you write an email to customer service something will eventually get fixed. Don't hold your breath. At least now you know about Page Down.
