Acropolis Views?
 

I would like to get recommendations for Athens hotels with Acropolis views in the range of $100 or less for travel in May. Thank You.

The Attalos Hotel would probably fit that description. The only view of the Acropolis is from the rooftop bar however. Still, relaxing up there with a drink after a long day of sightseeing is very pleasant. The rooms are spartan but clean, and the location is convenient to the Plaka. Hope this helps.

I'd recommend the Attalos also. We could actually see the Acropolis from our balcony. The rooms are very basic, but the location can't be beat.

I don't want to recommend the Plaka Hotel but someone here said it has been refurbished so maybe it's better than it used to be. We did have a good view of the Parthenon from our window there. The location is good.

Hello Tom, <BR> <BR>I have made reservations at the Attalos Hotel. Was quoted about $53 for a double with private bathroom, without breakfast. This hotel has been recommended by several other fodorites and is also in a couple of guidebooks such as Frommers. When do you plan to be in Athens? I'm trying to get a group of other fodorites to get together for drinks. Will be in Greece 2-13 May. Let me know!
