Acropolis view restaurant
 

My husband and I have one night in Athens before heading to the islands. We would love to have dinner with a night view of the Acropolis. Any suggestions? It does not need to be fancy. Great food, great view and we will be thrilled.
I forgot to mention the food!!! Greek, of course. Maybe a taverna or local place?

An other excellent option is the restaurant and coffe shop TO KOUTI in Monastiraki-Plaka,23 Adrianou street
with an Acropolis view and a view on the Thesion temple...

And also the hilton has the galaxy bar where you can eat and i've heard that it has a fantastic view of Athens/Acropolis etc.

Both the King George Hotel and The Grande Bretagne offer wonderful food in an amazing rooftop setting that offers great views of the Acropolis lit up at night. Of course neither of these choices is cheap, but we actually thought they were both worth it!

I second the rooftop restaurant at the Hotel Bretagne. We have always made a point of eating dinner there once a trip to Athens, It is also where we stay, one of the nicest Starwoods Hotels!

Thank you all for the great suggestions. How expensive are the GB and the King George? If we make a reservation for a table with a view will it be honored? Do we need reservations?
