Accomodations near Newgrange/Tara

Can anyone recommend B&B style accomodations near Newgrange or the Hill or Tara? Thanks!

We stayed in Highfield (? High something, anyway...) House in Trim, found it an easy drive to Tara and back in the afternoon. the next day drove to Newgrange. The house was a bit bigger & more elegant than we expected from the price. (But it was February.) Very nice place.

Look up discover Ireland's website as they should list some. Also you could stay in the town of Slane, where slane castle is located. What time of year? Avoid when the Madonna cxoncert is on in August. It is a nightmare getting round when a concert is on.

My Husband and I were in Ireland in June. While touring Newgrange, Knowth, Monasterboice we stayed at the Tullyesker Country House
(N1 Road, Monasterboice, Drogheda, Co Louth) The couple that run the place were just wonderful. Newgrange was about 10 min (if that) from the house. The price was for an en suite 35pp. The house is very nice. We were definately happy staying there and talking with the owners. The breakfasts were excellent also.

I also recommend Tullyesker Country House. It is a wonderful place to stay with especially warm hosts. Breakfast is one of the best in Ireland. Website: http://www.bestirishbandb.com/
