Accomodations in Sorrento

We need 2 rooms in Sorrento near the train station, reasonably priced, clean, shower, and elevator if two stories tall? For 1 night.

Try sorrentohotels.net,venere.com and expedia.com What do you consider reasonably priced?

I just returned from Sorrento 2 days ago. I stayed at the 'Hotel Lorelei et Londres' at Ave Califano, 12. It is overlooking the ocean and was only a 10-12 minute walk to the Circumvesuviana Train station. It cost 95 euros for a double room with 2 beds and included breakfast in the rate. I did notice a hotel right at the base of the Circumvesuviana (the L as you are exiting) that had a restaurant attached. You could always try for accommodations there once you arrive, it looked like it would be less expensive and is right next door (that is, if you haven't found anything prior).

Try the Hotel Michelangelo; we stayed there in 2002. You can't get any closer, really. It was extremely clean and modern. Rooms at the back, however, are right on the train tracks (though elevated a good 3 stories over them to begin with) and no more than a 5 minute walk to the station. I didn't have a problem sleeping, but the trains do start early and may bother others (the rooster down the street bothered me more!). The breakfasts (included) were great. Added bonus is Franco's pizza place right next door, the only place locals will eat pizza...and heavenly pizza it is!

We're scheduled to stay at Casa Susy (65E) in Sorrento on the 22nd. It's a B&B with breakfast included. Couldn't find much in the way of ratings, but the website looked okay, and we just need a place to lay our tired little heads for one night. Anybody ever stay there?

Another vote for Hotel Michelangelo, which was renovated and upgraded last year and has become more than the 4 star rating it claims. Large, exquisite rooms, one of the best bathrooms I have come across (and this includes the bathrooms in Spain), and a great staff. We had room 502 and another room on the 5th floor (2 rooms), both of which could each have accommodated three very easily. And flat screen t.v.s.
