You may not get your first choice as Florence books out early. Try www.laterooms.com.

Definitely try Hotel Casci. It is a small comfortable family owned and operated hotel, go to www.hotelcasci.com. Oh and it's located right in the heart of Florence right near The Duomo!!!

My husband and I loved the Hermitage Hotel which is across the street from the Ponte Vecchio. Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was fabulous after a day's walking. Rooftop deck was terrific spot for breakfast and/or cocktails.

my wife and I stayed at Hotel Tina (Small family run) and it was clean and very nice. It was about $60 for both of us.
