Accomodations in Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow
I was looking for accomodation suggestions for 4 people (bed and breakfast style)around Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Dublin. Also; is it better to rent a car or get a rail pass for this part of Europe? Finally, would anyone recommend taking a 3 year old to Europe from Canada for 2 weeks or would it be better to leave her behind? Thanks in advance!!

Try Adelaide's Guest house in Bath Street in Glasgow

In Dublin try Bewley's Inn Ballsbrige about £65 for a room for 4 in an excellent location - in a nice surburb - but without breakfast. Jurys Inn Christchurch is in the centre of the city and offers the same deal. Both are good options. I would suggest leaving the child at home as she/he won't remember much of the trip and you would be tied down in the evenings and it would give her grandparents anice break with her. Enjoy the trip

You might like the Kilronan House (http://dublinn.com/). My family & I stayed there one night 3-4 years ago and enjoyed it. Quiet, but easy walk to sightseeing. Excellent breakfast; friendly hosts.

Hi Shane,
In Edinburgh, my recommendation is Elmview B & B. It is definitely a class act and is in a great location. They have a website if you'd like a preview.
They have a lot of extras like refrigerators and complimentary sherry. The price is very reasonable as well. I hope you have a great trip!

If you are just doing the cities, I'd stick to a railpass.
