Accomodation in Paris

We are 4 adults in 3 generation, grand parents, parents and 2 young kids. We want to spend 4-5 days in paris . Do u get apartments on a weekls basis in a safe neighbourhood close to a metro station. we would rather spend money on Paris delights rather than accomodation so we are looking for something not very expensive but decent.

Hi

We stayed at TimHotel Tour Eiffel in April and it is located right next to Dupleix metro station. We choose it because it was fairly cheap (about 85€ per night). I have posted a review of the hotel and posted some pictures of the room in my trip report http://www.gardkarlsen.com/Paris_France.htm . Hope that you can find some useful info there :-)

Two rooms, a quad and a double, in this hotel would cost a total of 124 euros per night:

for 3 generations for 4-5 days I think you would do better in a 2 BR apt. Most of these have beds in the LR to sleep at least 6 in the apts. I suppose the age of your kids will help to determine if a quad/dbl would work.

I agree with travelbunny. Here's one that would do nicely for you (kids would sleep on sofabed).

The apartment linked above is the low end of the price range (though quite adequate for your group, IMO). Most other apartment agencies will charge more for an apartment for 6 people. parisperfcet.com is one that gets great reviews here.

Make that parisperfect.com for the higher end apts...

Hi

I have just made a Google map of Paris that might be of interest. You can find it on http://gardkarlsen.com/paris_france_map.htm
