accomodation fo granada, malaga, ronda and cadiz

I am going on a 9 days trip to andalucia with my 2 daughters this april and need to find accomodation for us.

we will be spending 2 night Granada, 1 night Malaga, 1 night Ronda, 1 night Cadiz and 5 in Seville.

I was hoping to find an appartment in Seville for the last 5 days and do a day trip to Cordoba from there, but probably easier to go hostel/hotel ot b&B for the rest of trip.

I am trying to give them an authentic feel, so I was looking for something close
and walking distance to centre so we can walk about easlily but not huge and overly touristy.

Any suggestions most welcome

You really need to provide a specific nightly budget so people can help with specific suggestions.

Also - are these adult daughters - or younger? (So what bed configuration will you need?)

Also, be aware that Semana Santa (Easter Holy Week, from Mar 29 - April 5, and the Seville Feria (April 21-26) will also affect cost and availability. These are busy and popular times to visit, so you probably should start looking sooner than later.

Daughters are 11 and 14 yearsa old.

budget depends on location definitely under 100 a night. The cheaper the better given location as priority.

Need help with Granada and Seville.

is Cadiz for the night worth stopping or better stop sleeping on the way?

I lokked into the parco nationale de donana. is it worth a stop on the drive back to seville? or as a day trip from seville?

any suggetions most welcome

In Granada, take a look at great value and basic hotel standard Hostal Rodri: http://www.booking.com/hotel/es/hostal-rodri.html

In Sevilla, Hostal Museo is an excellent option. Also basic hotel standard, in a central and local atmosphere location and ten minutes walking to the cathedral and the most obvious sights in the Santa Cruz district. Some of the finest tapas bars and restaurants in town on your doorstep: http://www.booking.com/hotel/es/hostal-museo.html

In Malaga, I use to stay in supercentral, great value, basic hotel standard Hostal Victoria: http://www.booking.com/hotel/es/victoria.html

... and two top of the shelf flamenco performances in Sevilla on 9. and 16. April. Part of the Jueves Flamencos (Flamenco Thursdays) program. In the Cajasol Salon de Actos theater in the heart of the city. Mostly a local and knowledgeable crowd and fabulous artists:

kimhe,
We'll be in Seville from May 6-9; should I book ahead for a concert at the Cajasol Salon or just buy tickets when we arrive? The person scheduled for the May 7 Thursday event is Rafael Riqueni.

I will definitely be looking into the other flamenco venues, but it doesn't look like the May schedule is up for casa de la memoria yet. Casa del flamenco has "Flamenco tradicional" on May 6.

progol,
Rafael Riqueni is great, and I think you should book as soon as possible: http://www.ticktackticket.com/cajasolticket/Turina.html

See if you are lucky and Pastora Galvan turns up for either May 6 or 8 at Casa de la Memoria. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-hp6JVzC7A

Many thanks, kimhe. I'll purchase the tickets soon for Rafael Riqueni.

And (skipping on air...) I finally have my tickets for the Alhambra!

And tickets are purchased for Rafale Riqueni! It looks like it's more than half sold out already, so I'm pleased to have the tickets in hand.

Hope you'll have a great concert tonight!

And I just have to add: Plain fantastic Pastora Galvan dances tomorrow, Friday 8, at 19:30 and 21:00 in intimate Casa de la Memoria. Voted best female flamenco dancer 2010 by Spanish critics, and she had a huge success in the grand Maestranza theater during the Bienal a few months ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-hp6JVzC7A
