Accommodations in Slovenia
 

We will be spending one night in slovenia in order to catch our flight to frankfurt at 6:55am on May 23.

Could someone please recommend a inexpensive, clean, quiet place to stay that is very close to the airport?

As well is one hour time enough for check in at the airport?

Well it's not out by the airport but I've heard Ljubjlana's Hotel Emonec is supposed to be both inexpensive and clean. We're planning to stay there in May while in Ljubljana for 2 night. Google should bring it's website up if you're interested...

There are no airports out by the Ljubljana airport. You will need to stay in town and take a taxi out. I have stayed at the Union and it is quite nice, but not inexpensive. Here's a website that might help: www.hotelsljubljana.com

ooops - forgot your question about time... if you are in line at the ticket counter 1 hour before the flight, you are probably going to be fine. Depending upon the length of the line, that mihgt leave you with limited time to browse the duty free, which has SLovene glass, lace, wines, etc.

It's a very small airport. One hour will be fine. Also, Equitraveler is right. There are no hotels by the airport. You need to either stay in a gostilna in the country or in Ljubljana. We have this one out by our house, which is in a northern suburb, about 15 minutes from the airport.
