Accommodations in Paris

Hello,

We have a 19 hour lay over in Paris, such a bummer ... NOT ~

We will be there from 2pm to 9am the next day and need a place in the city that is reasonable. The hotel will only be to drop our stuff off and lay our heads down for a few hours so amenities are not important. What is important is Location. We are even considering staying in a Hostel.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks so much!
Ann

Hi ap,

We always stay at the Hotel Bonaparte, 61 Rue Bonaparte in the 6th. From 128E dbl w/bkfst. It is located near 3 metro stops. Has AC and an elevator.

Staying in a hostel doesn't seem like a very good idea if you have a lot of "stuff" with you.

what is your budget?

More importantly, what do you want to visit? I would either stay near your # 1 Paris attraction or choose someplace central (e.g. someplace near the 1 Metro line... like near the Hotel de Ville).

I would stay very near to an RER B station. This is assuming your airport is CDG. You can easily train back and forth.

Try not to choose Chatelet-Les Halles because it is so large and crowded, but I've done it with luggage. Instead, I would pick Saint Michel or Luxembourgh stations. A hotel very near to either would get you to and from the airport with ease.
