Accommodations for 4 in Rome/campo de'Fiori or Pantheon area

Hello everyone,
Can anyone recommed an apartment for 2 couples in Rome that is located within walking distance of the Vatican, Pantheon etc. We have allready spent a few days in Rome staying at a B&B near the Vatican and very close to Piazza Navona.

Can anyone recommend a place to stay? We love to walk and explore and from our past visit we want to try to stay in the same area or not far from.

Thank you all in advance!

Go on the website www.sleepinitaly.com. They list the apartments by area and are a very reliable agency to deal with.

One apartment that I know of and liked very much is the St. Andrea at Piazza Paradiso just off the Campo d. Fiori. Only problem might be that the second bedroom is up in a loft and a bit "open" (no enclosing walls) which could be a problem for privacy.

I conquer sleep in Italy is very easy to work with. I did rent an apartment by the Spanish Steps that would work for 2 couples - two real bedrooms. But that is not the area you are looking for.

Hello Mom,

Can you tell me where you stayed? The Spanish Steps is not out of the question if the price is right.

We rented through Sleep In Italy but you can go straight through the owner I found out later. A few notables about the apartment:

1. it was right by an Italian music school...the music drifted up often to the apartment - it was magical. Truly.

2. No lift - if anyone in your party has issues with walking/stairs I would not recommend this apartment. It is the 3rd floor Europe - so 4th floor US. It was a lot of stairs on some days after touring.

3. The seating in the living area was not overly comfortable for relaxing at the end of the day.

4. The rooms were very private - on separate ends of the apartment.

5. Two bathrooms - one in the master bedroom and another in a hall.

Do look at sleepinitaly.com. You can sort by neighborhood, price, etc. They have TONS of apartments.

We stayed here and loved it:

Imperfect, funky, charming, old-school elegant. Must like stairs!

My daughter and I stayed at Residenza Giubbonari last May. Wonderful! 2 bedrooms/2 baths and very comfortable seating in the living area. Plus a great washer and dryer!

Cristina is a delight to work with and the location is so central.
