Premier Inn London Leicester Square Premier Inn London Leicester Square

travel lodge is a lot cheaper. We wish to be central around covent gardens. Are they of a similar standard and position.

Thank you

The travelodge is a great location for a budget hotel. Could not be more central. But it is a travelodge so not quite as nice as a premier inn.

Neither is luxurious but both are perfectly serviceable. If the travelodge is significantly cheaper and you don't mind basic, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

I have stayed at the Travelodge Covent Garden. Spacious room for London, clean, nice bathroom, very secure. We did not have breakfast there since we paid for room only. I think they should actually call it Travelodge Holborn because it's far closer to Holborn than Covent Garden but I understand marketing decisions.

If a hotel is fairly central, clean, inexpensive and safe - hey, I'm in. You're pretty much only sleeping there so I think it's a good value. Also, make sure you check for voucher codes - I saved 10 pounds by using one last year.
