accademia hotel in venice
 

I would appreciate any feedback about this hotel from people who stayed there recently.

We haven't stayed there, but from months of reading posts here it was our first choice for our upcoming trip. Unfortunately, it apparently books up early, as they had no rooms available for our week in May, and this was about a month ago.

I was there in June, it is as wonderful as everyone says. If you can get a room then book it.

I think their address is:<BR>Maravege s.r.l.<BR>Dorsoduro,1058-30123 venezia<BR><BR>The hotel is not plush but it is quaint, the staff is helpful and it has a beautiful garden. It is the same hotel from the Katherine Hepburn movie.

I stayed there threee nights in early October 2002. I highly recommend it. Very comfortable, cozy, elegant and refined establishment. Not cheap, but you pay for discreet elegance.
