Accademia & Uffizi Galleries in Florence
 

Does anyone know if their summer hours are different and are actually open on Mondays? Our cruise docks in Livorno on June 26, and we wanted to see all the art works of these two galleries.

Both are closed on Mondays year-round. June 26th is a Sunday. Uffizi and Accademia are both open until 6:50p, but you should have reservations for both if you hope to see anything else in Florence that day.

The quick answer: both are closed on Mondays all year long.

The Brancacci Chapel is open on Mondays. Reservations highly recommended in summer.

Notice on the same web page I linked above, Museo di Palazzo Vecchio and Museo di S.M. Novella are also open on Mondays.
