If I had the opportunity to go...I would GO!
I am soooo jealous!!

To get back to the subject:

40 years ago today
Sergeant Pepper taught his band to play

Am I alone in thinking that Sgt Pepper is the Beatles worst album? (well the first one is pony - but that's forgivable)

p.s PalBob - stop drinking paint. It's not big and it's not clever.

"But the only way you can take the Abbey Road photo is if the photographer ISN'T on the zebra crossing. So there's no legal requirement to stop for him or her....And you get more points the pricier the camera."

But of course we fans know about the risks, flanner. After all, we are but just trying to verify the line:

It's wonderful to be here
It's certainly a thrill....

By the way, you needn't be so chronologically exact. Sergeant Pepper was the first album I ever possessed and that was...oh, surely 20 years ago, not 40. ;)

mjnx - I believe that were this a religious pilgrimage for you, the simplest of relics would reaffirm your faith. As it is, this heretic thinks the Beatles were more meant to be heard, than seen.

>>the Beatles were more meant to be heard, than seen<<

Especially nowadays. With all the worry over his divorce settlement, Sir Paul's hair is reputedly getting blacker every day.

He shouldn't worry - she hasn't got a leg to stand on. And anyway he bought her a plane last christmas (she uses Imac on the other leg)
