Correction. the terrific guy who helped me with the QM2 reservations was from cruiseweb.com. John H is his name, if anyone wants to be treated like royalty

Well, except for your niece's very scary illness, this sounds like a dream vacation

Seriously, I am very happy that everything has turned out OK. Being a mother, I can well imagine your sister's panic at the onset and her relief at having friends in Paris to help them through it.

Best wishes to your niece with hopes that she will be completely well soon.

Yes, ParisPerfect was great but kudos go to you too. It sounds like you have been a lifesaver (maybe literally) with all the work you did to ensure that things would go smoothly. Sounds like you have Best Sister and Best Aunt awards coming your way!!!

Thanks for the update. Hope the passage is uneventful and enjoyable, and good luck to your niece when you get her home. As people around here say, that's why we live near Boston.
