A weekend in Portugal in October
 

Hello All,

My husband and I are thinking of heading to Portugal the 18th through the 21st of October with another couple. Knowing we have such a limited time, I was just looking for suggestions of what we should do & where we should go. The other couple have two young children that they are not bringing with so they are looking for adult fun like eating and drinking and generally relaxing. We all love a good beach area but understand the weather can be hit or miss at that time.

There is honestly nothing in particular we are looking to do and are a bit of a blank slate which is why I guess I'd just like to know some of your favorite things in Portugal.

We are traveling from Bristol, UK, in case that makes any difference.
