Thanks for all the details. Now I want to go back and check out that jewelry store, Fabrice. Hope I can remember it next time I go, whenever that might be. Not that I need any more costume jewelry from Paris. I intentionally stayed away from jewelry stores on my last visit. But this one sounds tempting...
My favorite Fabrice jewelry item is my African necklace made of large, African-beaded hoops, all intertwined, and with a large, magnetic, closure clasp on the back. Fabric sends me e-mails as they have online pop-up stores from time to time. I got another e-mail from them not too long ago. I remember a salesperson mentioning that they sometimes have pop up boutiques in NYC, and I was once told some years ago by them, that they were to have one here in Los Angeles, but I don't know if it happened or not. Seamus - The one on rue de la Seine. Do they have locations in the U.S. as well? Good to know about Le Cosi on Rue Cujas. Will remember for next trip! I know about Chez Omar, but didn't make it there.
One of my best, Parisian friends first took me to Cosi, back around when it opened, as she's a hotel manager in the neighborhood. It's a good place to go and grab a bite and especially when one doesn't have a long lunch hour. So, she and I would eat there and then she could walk quickly back to work at her hotel, a 3-minute walk from Cosi. Happy Travels! |
Hi Guenmai - I wish I had asked for them to put me on their email list. I didn't know about their pop up boutiques either. Thanks for the suggestion. Everyone I mention Fabrice to ends up thanking me. It's the most distinctive costume jewelry store I've seen.
