The water bus is regular transport -- there is no commentary, etc>

tourist may want to take the sightseing boats with commentary- but would cost more.

The river bus seems to make earlier and more frequent trips, plus we can use our Oyster cards. I'm not a fan of the commentary on buses, boats, etc. as I can never hear 'em. LOL

As sailors, we are looking forward to this day trip to where longitude starts!

If you want more Thames boats from Greenwich you can take them to the Thames Barrier- meant to block surge tides from coming into London via Thames:
