macdogmom: trying to plan my trip for the beginning of May. When are you going? We may see you in Montepulciano at Il Riccio! There are also 2 great restaurants there that I can't wait to go back to.

Hi Racer
We have stayed at this lovely apartment twice in the past year. It is just south of Pienza in the Val D'Orcia--surrounded by peaceful scenery and friendly sheep. It would make a great base for the wine regions of southern Tuscany. You would definitely need a car to visit here.
