I just wanted to thank everyone who left messages of support for me & my family on the Europe & US boards & in the Lounge.

I won’t dwell on the events of the last few weeks except to say that I read every single one of your messages of support. Please believe me when I say that you can’t possibly understand how much solace & consolation they gave me.

Special thanks are due to DebitNM & of course to LoveItaly in particular for posting on my behalf & for keeping in touch. I'm deeply grateful to her.

I will continue to lurk & will post again when the time is right.

You are living every parent's nightmare and as a mother of two young adults I can't begin to understand what you are going through. Sincere sympathy to you and your family.

Jim, I had no idea about this until now. I am so, so sorry for you and the rest of your family and will pray for you along with all your other friends round the world.
