"A spree in Paree" a tale

This delightful tale concerns Monsieur Monmouton with his eleven sheep. five geese, three goats four cows, a flock of pigeons, two pigs nine chickens a roser and the hard working dog. Parisians camp in his fields and he enjoys their company and hears about Paris. When they leave, they say come visit us in Paris. He sighs, he'd like to go to Paris but no one to feed his animals. The next morning when he and the dog opened the barn, they found all the animals squeezzed into his truck. Eh, bien, let's go.These delightful, funny watercolors show them touring, looking at fashion on Fauberg St-Honoré, they take a bateau mouche ride, roam the Luxemberg gardens, The Louvre, later huff up to the top of the Eiffel Tower. They invite the Parisean friends for a three star resaurant, later that night they go to the Follies Bergère. Exhaused, Monsieur gathers up his brew returns home and says never again, too much work. Meanwhile, in the barn, the last drawing shows the animals planning thir next trip, all reading travel guides and magazines about New York City.

This was one of the best fictional travel reports, i've read(except for Degas's)

Thanks, Mimi. I think I might have to get this one, and I don't even have any little kiddoes in my life--I'll buy it for me. Paris and an adventure to boot, all beautifully illustrated.
