A small Paris flea market
Hi
I know lots of Fodorites are heading to Paris, and so am I. I just ran across a note on a flea market while I was packing. On the last Friday of every month, which will be the day after Thanksgiving for this month, there is a flea market in front of the Bourse. I once got a very beautiful figurine there. I collect Blessed Mother and female saint images and the one I got at the Bourse flea market is very different from any I've seen. Hope someone finds this useful. I'm thinking I will go to this, because unless the weather is gorgeous, I'm not going out to Clingnacourt. |
Do go to Vanves.I gave up on Cligancourt years ago. ALso ther is an outside flea market at a
Aligre on week ends |
I enjoyed the one on Rue President Wilson on a Sunday.
I'm sure it's there throughout the year with antiques and some art. |
I probably wasn't clear that I'm not looking for flea markets. I just found an old note I had made on the Bourse market, and thought I would share it. I thought it might be an idea for others, since it is so central. It is a very small market.

I've made a note of Bourse flea market + others. Thanks for the info!

There are also true flea markets in various neighborhoods from time to time. Went to one on a Sunday morning last September in the 14th, rue d'Alesia@ rue de la Tombe Issoire. Look for posters for local 'vide grenier' sales.
