ah, but these days we know that virtually any word can be turned into a different form meaning more or less the same thing, not to mention perfectly good nouns that have lost their way and become verbs.

eigasuki, Dinan is the place for you. Do some picture searches at Google. It's a delightful place in a great location. J.
p.s., Marcia, I'd like to read more about the cooking school plans, too.

Le Saussay. flsd could you tell me where I might find it on the internet? And thanks for the gites address, too. The cooking school. It's actually my husband's thing. He went last summer and this spring wanted to go back with me...Honestly, I don't even know exactly where it is. But now I'm motivated to find out more so I can tell you all who are interested. Speaking of things I'd like to know more about. Has anyone rented from VRBO #19964 the owner is Ghislaine...thanks for any info.

am reading a mystery set in oregon/washington and came across a description of "a normanesque castle." i think normanesque must be the adjective of choice when describing something that looks norman but is not. and that's all she wrote on this subject.

We stayed on a wheat farm between Pont Leveque and Lisieux and it was delightful. It was a Karen Brown place but no more than $100 a night or so. Lisieux is tourist free.

marciabb: The B&B I mentioned near Cahagnes, Le Saussay, can be found at the gites-de-france site as if you do a search by location. Type in the town Cahagnes (in Calvados, 14) and look for the owner's name, Michel Boneme.
