Enjoyed your report and lovely photos. About 10'years ago I spent 10 days driving around Burgundy and loved it. Most of my time was spent south of Dijon. However, to return my rental car I drove north through Auxerre to Sens and remember how beautiful the countryside was. If I go back, I'll take your lovely route. I would love to visit Troyes, too.

Loved your trip report and pictures, yes, this is a beautiful part of France. We were in the Champagne region over a ling weekend earlier this month and I’d go back again in a heartbeat!
We want to spend about two weeks in France next June and are looking at the Burgundy and Côte du Rhone regions. But we’d probably drive straight to Dijon and head southwards from there.
Did you feel you could have spent a couple more days there, 2.5 days seems a little short. I was thinking of about 12 days for the two regions, what do you say?
Thanks again for sharing your experiences
