A quiz for those that love the Siena area

Ok, if the inhabitants of Siena are called Senesi, the inhabitants of Montalcino are called Montalcinesi,the inhabitants of S.Gimignano are called SanGimignanesi how are the people that live in Montepulciano called? Ok, Andrea, I'll answer, but then I definitely want the prize, ok? The most famous inhabitant of M. was a certain man who studied humanistics. His name was "Poliziano". He was the private teacher of the Medici family. He has taken over this name from a former designation of the town's name itself. Hm... did I get this about right? It's not my "English writing day".
