has anyone been to fort william,ullapool or skye? what is there to do in them places for adults and children?

In my capacity as a member of the 'Universe of Everyone', I will attempt to answer your question: "Has anyone been to Fort William, Ullapool or Skye? What is there to do in them places for adults and children?"

First, many may have noticed that in spite of the singular reference to "a question" in the title of the post, it is actually two questions. My consiered opinion is that the answer to the first question is "Yes", for if nobody had ever been there, they would be deserted. I noticed that there is even a website for Fort William that includes all sorts of information about places to stay, travel options, etc. I doubt that all of this is simply a cruel hoax.

As to the second question, I haven't had the pleasure of visiting any of these places, so I can't answer from any personal experience. Still, it inspired another question on my part, which is this:

"WHY IS THIS A QUESTION FOR EVERYONE?!"

Since this is Ravenofdarkness' first post here I am sure s/he was just trying to ensure as many answers as possible.

Everyone has great qualities..we just have to be patient until we see them.

Yes! I've been to all 3. I just passed through Ft. William and Ullapool (overnight stays) and didn't really explore.

Ullapool is a small town and although I liked the B&amp;B and the restaurant they recommended I woudn't particularly go back there. It's a small town and didn't seem to have much for the tourist.

Skye - that's another story. Go there! It's georgous. Great small towns, interesting pottery in Uig, hiking, beautiful scenery, mountains, misty vistas, castles, going out in a small boat (row boat with motor) looking at the seals. I'd never seen a seal in its natural habitat before.

The above posters are correct. You'll get more legitimate answers if your title indicates what you're looking for. Most everyone here has a &quot;question for everyone.&quot; A better title would have been &quot;sightseeing information for Ft. William, Ullapool, and Skye.&quot; Many people who have a wealth of information on Scotland will probably pass this one by.

Since you wantto get picky, your statement makes no sense. Since you've never been there, you don't know whether it would be a please or not.

What is ullapool?

Ullapool is a small town on the western coast of Scotland.

Maybe we can work on the basis that the question could have been more specific and move on from there....

I have been to all three. Fort William is not exactly fantastic as a visitor centre, but you will find mostly outdoorsy things in all three; which is fine if the weather is good (on the west coast of Scotland? I hear you ask!)

Try searching the individual place names and then come back with specifics.
