A question about Seville Spain
 

I was wondering what the distance is between Seville airport to the center of town.

About 14 Km (8.4 miles).

I got the information from the Autoeurope website so I assume it is pretty accurate.

There is a bus route for going to and from the airport (~30 min), with stops in several locations in town (one near the Hotel Alfonse). Cost around 3 euros.

Once you get off at the nearest stop to your hotel, you should be just minutes from your destination (on foot or taxi).

Actually we are renting a car and driving from the airport to town- something new for some of us. I can't wait to see this part of Spain.

We just spent a day in Seville and I will tell you this...some streets were closed because they are constructing new metro stations. Traffic was diverted in many spots. Just make sure you take along a map. :)

Depending what hotel you're staying, it could be heaven or it could be hell. If you're going to the XXX Judia or something like this name, best to take a taxi and order your rental car later. It's tough to find and even harder to park.

Parking is hard to find but just use the parking garages and it's keeping you from getting tickets. If you're just driving from one place to another within Sevilla, cruise around until you find a legal parking slot. Trust me, you're going to get good at finding legal parking slots.
