A new book for Francophobes/philes
 

You might want to read a new book by Richard Chesnoff, veteran foreign correspondent and New York Daily News op-ed columnist, and a 15 year resident of the. south of France.

"The Arrogance of the French: Why They Can't Stand Us-and Why the Feeling is Mutual"

There is a short interview with the author in US News & World Report, April 25. page 20.

I hesitate to ask, but is the title tongue-in-cheek? If not, why did the writer stay there for 15 years?

I guess you'll have to read the book. He still lives there.
