Oh my gosh!!! All 3 are amazing but I would go with Taillevant hands down!!! This is the grand daddy of Paris restaurants, most often voted the best. The staff is amazing and will treat you like a QUEEN!!! The food is divine, you won't believe the tasting menu! It's not cutting edge but that is not what they do. They do traditional haute cuisine to the nth degree!

My husband and I had dinner there 3 years ago, since then we have been to many Michilan starred restaurants but Taillevant always stands out in our memories.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday! But if you decide on Taillevent -- or, for all I know, one of the others -- do reserve well in advance.

what is the average price for lunch or dinner???

I can't speak to lunch but dinner for 2 with pre drinks, bottle of wine, after dinner drinks was about $400.00

I went over to reservethebest.com...
it is a site where I can dream!!!

Anyway, I pretended that I could afford that..and I don't know whether they have "plats" ...but a'la carte, I could get out of there on that menu for a little less than 100'E.s..but for me, I'd have to add wine... so more!

How's that??

I went to Pierre Gagniere last night. It was without a doubt the worst meal I have ever had at a Paris restaurant. I have been living here for 40 years and have gone to a great many. I also would opt for Taillevent. They have a wonderful wine list to boot. Have a good time!

>what is the average price for lunch or dinner [at Taillevent]??

They have a 70E lunch menu. Plus wine, of course.
