A few days at the beach suggestions
 

I would like to spend a few days beachside. I am not a resort-type person so I am looking for a nice town (accessible by public transportation) where I can walk to a beach and perhaps rent a chair (or bring a towel) . I saw a posting about Castellammare del Golfo and looked it up. It looks beautiful, but I would love some suggestions from someone’s personal experience.

fly from Rome to Palermo. I am pretty open from there.
