A Day at the Races in Paris
 

We will be visiting Paris during the first week of July and we would like to know if there will be horse racing at Longchamps Race Track. Our friends are racing enthusiasts and we would like to spend an afternoon enjoying the races.

I think the races are on the first Sunday in October? I have a number to the Hippodrome de Longchamps...any websites out there? <BR> <BR>T:01.44.30.75.00

Wendy I have looked for a web site in all the usual search engines. Then I tried several of the France/Paris web sites recommended in this forum. Several hours of web surfing, and still no luck! Help!

There is a site devoted to horseracing at about.com. It has links to foreign racing and then to different French sites. Some are just in French. There are also links to different race courses and I believe, some meeting dates as well. There always seems to be some racing going on in the Paris area. I was thinking to go when I am in Paris in March.
